I had not heard any good music in weeks. And i finally found something that sounds refreshing.

It's called "This boy's in love" by The Presets.

So refreshing to find some good music.

I first heard the Presets on a surf video i actually picked up with a pair of Quiksilver board shorts. Weird, i know. They're like crossover electro/rock style. Hard to pinpoint. But their music is outstanding.

Also, this is the song i heard. Not the surf video unfortunately. Hell of a song though.

Hi.

Not much to blog about.
Here's my thoughts at the moment.

I hate the cold.
I love poutine.
I'm almost in full hibernation mode presently. Couldn't be happier.
Haven't heard a lot of good music recently. That kinda sucks.
Starting to think i could use more hats. Tuques. Lids of some sort.
I believe reality TV has full taken over my life. Chef Gordon Ramsey couldn't be more enthralling.
I really don't appreciate this cold weather.
And wish it was summertime. Or i was in Miami.

I'm really in need of a new creative project. That i am sure of.

NEW YEARS RESOLUTIONS!

Howdy.

Welcome everyone. I've missed you.

While i haven't exactly found myself with the time to blog i have found time to make some resolutions for the new year. I figure, if i put them down on the internet you guys can call me out in a years time if i don't make good on my promises, ya digg??????

So.

Let me begin.

1. Meet new people.
- Why? Because i don't feel like i can ever meet enough interesting people. And i'm still single. Meeting new people should help! :)

2. Get out and TRAVEL. You know, do some partying at some fresh venues. I'm thinking New York... any ideas ???

3. Tattoo. A large one. Not really a resolution but a goal nonetheless.

4. Get York to stop fuckin' striking. (sorry. i had to. this shit has gone on for too long)

5. Throw an event in another city other than Toronto....

6. Work on my t-shirt collection.

7. Post on my blog every other day. Not the best start lol. But it's STILL POSSIBLE!

8. Everyone puts down "buy a house", "buy a car", "find a girlfriend".

THEY ALL COST MONEY!! I'm going to save my cash in 2009.

9. Since i stopped giving a shit about what people think a while ago, i think i'm going to do something different this year. Because i just haven't had the time. But this year i'm going to make time. I think i'm going to work on some art. Yeah, ART. It might be digital, or on canvas, or some other medium who the fuck cares! It's going to be amazing.

10. Actually follow up on my resolutions. Oh yeah, and i want to swear less..... (**&(*#^$)@*&^)

Since York University has decided to take the rest of 2008 off. I decided to go out start shopping.
I know it probably isn't the ideal economic scenario right now to be spending from my savings account. After a brief moment of consideration (about 2 seconds) i began to saunter down Queen Street to Goodfoot.

I guess things couldn't get much better. Here i am, out of school, running out of things to do, just wondering the streets searching for clothes and sneakers. So after an overpriced coffee and an unusually warm day stroll through the neighbourhood i made my way to my fav store.

I didn't say much, slowly checked for new gear, just bought a hat and left. Can today get any better?

After my most recent decision to reduce my carbon footprint (I know the unrecyclable coffee cup sucks) by walking instead of driving, riding the iron horse instead of having mild angina on the highway into the city. I found out that Goodfoot has made the same socially responsible decision to reduce their carbon footprint that i did. And deep inside my incredibly cool paper bag i found a pamphlet on the latest project between my favorite sneaker shop and my second favorite shoe company. SO here's the link. Check it out. Wednesday December 3, 2008. It went down.
Dopplehertz (work) brought Samantha Ronson to Toronto.
Holeeey shit.

Turned out to be a fun night. Lots of vodka. Pretty ladies. And i mean a BUNCH of pretty ladies.
And some not so pretty.

You know, going into Wednesday, i really had zero expectations. I figured it would just have been a total shitshow. Being a Wednesday night and all... it was pretty good. I drank my usual vodka bar limes. I saw most of the same people we usually see at CiRCA. And generally just had fun. I got there early. Expecting the Lohan groupies to be in full effect. But it wasn't the case (unless the 4 or 5 photogs wasn't enough).

Just after the Tightknit Crew hit the decks for a short (dope) set i got a chance to chill out from the hectic week i had from trying to sell tickets and sample the smooth sounds of SIAMESE2HEARTS (www.myspace.com/siamese2hearts). Sweet lord. Apart from the grade 5 schoolboy crush i think i developed during their set i really like these two. They played it cool when the club's sound guy shit the bed early and then rocked it. They're back in the T-dot soonish at Wrongbar Dec 17th.

As for SamRon well i can only say i'm a huge electro/tech fan. And i didn't hear alot of what i really like. But i know the groupies loved it.
